The energy is still buzzing from my experience at the 2025 Entrepreneurs & Innovators Conference, hosted by the Alabama State Black Chamber of Commerce — and I couldn’t be more grateful.
Presenting “Strategic Stability: The Backbone of Scalable Growth”
I had the privilege of leading a workshop on one of my favorite topics: strategic stability — the structure, systems, and strategy that make sustainable business growth possible.
Far too often, entrepreneurs are running successful businesses that are silently burning them out. My session focused on showing leaders how to put the right processes in place so they can:
Reduce day-to-day frustration
Operate more efficiently
And most importantly — enjoy the business they’ve worked so hard to build
When you lay the groundwork through standard operating procedures and clear systems, you position yourself not only to scale but to sustain.
Speaking on The Entrepreneur’s Edge
I was also honored to speak on The Entrepreneur’s Edge segment of Envision Radio, hosted by Jerry Mitchell, CEO of the Chamber, and his dynamic co-host, Ophelia Cox — a leading commercial interior designer and the CEO of Cox Commercial Interiors.
Together, we had a powerful conversation about how simple, strategic moves — like documenting your repetitive tasks — can completely shift how a business grows and leads.
The Juneteenth Reception: A Whole Vibe!
To cap off an already incredible day, the Juneteenth Reception was the perfect blend of celebration and culture. The food? Delicious. The entertainment? Unmatched. And yes — the live music had me glued to the dance floor. If you know me, you know I’m the line dance queen!
I Didn't Just Teach — I Learned
This conference wasn’t just about presenting — I walked away with new insights that I’ve already started applying:
How to maintain a powerful social media presence
How to embrace AI for business efficiency
And how to network in ways that lead to real partnerships and friendships
Why This Conference Matters
This wasn’t just another business event. It was a space filled with entrepreneurs — brand-new and seasoned — hungry to grow, learn, and build with purpose. The Alabama State Black Chamber of Commerce created a platform that delivered value from every angle.
